RCA Australia was established in 1994 to provide specialist consultancy services in geotechnical, environmental and groundwater engineering and construction materials testing.
The Principals draw on over 100 years combined experience in the above fields in Australia and overseas. The staff base comprises 45 full time staff including engineers, scientist and technicians.
The company strives to provide timely, personal and professional service to meet your engineering needs. Section Principals are involved in all levels of the project and oversee project quality. Measurement of our service performance is undertaken through a quality system framework that has been in place since 1996.
The company's commitment to quality service was acknowledged through third party certification with NATA to AS/NZS ISO 9001: 2000 (registration No.7312).
Through the development of our internal quality system we have now developed the training and expertise to offer quality system development and auditing services to ISO9001:2000. In addition, system development and auditing for environment management, ISO14001:2004 and QA systems to ISO9001:2000 and ISO9004:2000.
Principal Staff
Robert Carr BSc, BE, M.Eng. Sc, MIE AUST – Managing director. Bob has broad experience and has consulted widely in the field of geotechnical engineering over the last 30 years for civil, mining and building projects.
Dr Mark Allman B.E. (Hons 1), PhD, MIEAust – Mark is a Principal geotechnical engineer and holds a PhD in geotechnical engineering. Mark has broad experience in research and consulting in geotechnical testing and analysis.
Fiona Robinson BE(Env) (Hons), M.Eng, MIE Aust, MAICD – Fiona is a Principal Environmental Engineer and has over 10 years experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation and hydrogeology.
Geoff Mason. Geoff is Environmental Services Manager, responsible for RCA's Environmental Section, the Earthworks Laboratory and Metford Laboratory.
Paul Lambert, BSc MAppSc – Paul is a Principal engineering geologist and has 17 years' experience with general geotechnical investigations, road and rail construction, mine slope stability and slope risk assessments for road and rail.
